I went to school and NC and I am familiar with Bojangles and its standards which I love. Their chicken should be fresh, crispy, seasoned and amazing. The service should be quick and courteous and most of all the fries should be hot crispy and seasoned. The key word being SHOULD. Despite this place being in the "hood" they should not be exempt from standards, which they feel they are. I am pregnant, so I was craving Bojangles. I drove from about 15 mins past 3 other chicken spots to get here and was thoroughly disappointed. First, the person on at the drivethrough window acts as if you are interrupting her conversation by needing to place your order. When you pull up the first thing she says is "Hold On". It takes about 5 mins for her to come back to the speaker and does not give a care about what you could be talking about. I got a tailgate special and asked for wings and legs only, when they told me they did not have anymore wings. REALLY? OK, get to the window, the girl is yelling at the staff and I hear several other staff members yelling back at her as if a fight were to ensue, FOREAL! She takes my payment and hands me the box all while continuing this scream fest. I has to ask loudly for hot sauce when she returned to the window. Her response? "We ain't got none" ok I said BBQ sauce? We ain't got that either. Okay Im thinking, she's playing. She's standing there stone cold face, when I realized she was serious. How do you have a chicken joint with no hot sauce? You sell chicken tenders with no BBQ sauce? All in all, the fries were cold, soggy and saturated in seasoning, so much so they were uneatable. The chicken tasted reheated and the sides were also cold and gross. The whole meal went in the trash, except for a piece of chicken I managed to salvage for the dog. $25 down the drain. IF there a Mr. Bojangle, this establishment should make him roll over in his grave. Unless you like a ghetto hot mess of the spectacle, nasty food and waiting forever, do yourself a favor. STAY HOME!

Solid solid choice. Southern spicy chicken, delicious! Sometimes have great specials too. The tailgate chicken special is solid, can easily feed 3-4 adults. The mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy are amazing. Get extra gravy, goes great with the chicken and biscuits. The other side others are great as well. The sweet tea is awesome!! Fresh chicken takes 13 minutes to make, worth the wait! Recommended!!

Bojangles is a fast food chain known for it's fried chicken and biscuits. The chicken is crispy but not popeyes crispy and seasoned well. The biscuit is better than popeyes, its bigger fluffier and lightly buttered. The service here was okay however the surrounding area is not the greatest. For lunch I had the two piece dark with a side of dirty rice, biscuit, and sweet tea( too sweet IMO however most sweet tea is too sweet for me).

Actual bojangles food is good. The service here is constantly crappy. Doesn't matter who the staff is and what time it is. I really think once ppl are over working they need to quit and leave. I asked for a large chicken meal enough to feed 4 to 5 ppl I was given 2 napkins 2 packs of hot sauce and 2 sporks....2 sporks. Come on now. This was supposed to cover all that food plus the other order I made. No straws given, nothing.

Just a typical Bojangles chain. There is nothing about this chain that really stands out from the other chains. It's a quick drive through meal. Get the sweet tea with your meal order.

Worst bojangles ever. Guaranteed 15 minute wait for warm food. They also don't like to give u any sauce for your tenders.

I read the other reviews and I was like whoa. it's not THAT bad lol. well the one time I go. it's not. fries were slightly over seasoned. sweet tea was good. pecan cinnamon swirl was good. Cajun chicken biscuit was great. everything was definitely fresh though. my customer service was fine. she was friendly with me lol.

The slowest drive thru ever! If you are in a rush OR want a quick meal - DONT GO HERE! The folks in the place seem to be working in slow motion. I would think that my food would be piping hot when I got home, since it seems like Im always WAITING for chicken. Why am I waiting for chicken? this is a fast food joint! NOT! save yourself... drive past this place and go to somewhere else.

Chicken is awesome, always juicy! Best biscuits I had from a fast food place. Just wished they smiled, greeted, or gave a rats ass to customers, and for god sakes, why is the wait always soooooo long?

oooooh my goodness, Bojangles! When I first heard about Bojangles, I thought my NC-native friend was kidding. What kind of name is "Bojangles," anyway? I was even more uncertain about it when I googled and found out it's a fast food chain. I had written it off completely until 3 other people recommended it to me after hearing I was contemplating a trip down to Raleigh. All I can say is, I am SO glad I took those recommendations and rolled with it. I really don't understand why/how KFC is still in business when Bojangles is around. Food: The only explanation i can muster for the chicken being so tender is that it's not really chicken... it's that unbelievable; the biscuits are amazzzing - flaky but dense and no butter necessary; sweet tea is, of course, perfect; and their fast food style dirty rice is so delicious and perfectly seasoned, I shutter with anticipation and excitement at what real restaurant dirty rice tastes like. oh boy. I was so stoked on the food after I consumed about 2x my body weight that I bought a half gallon of tea and way more biscuits than I could ever consume by myself in a lifetime. Service: was excellent.. I mean, it IS a fast food place, but they could have been really snotty when I said it was my first time there and that I couldn't make up my mind about what I wanted. The girl taking my order was very patient and the one getting my food was friendly in spite of her totally making fun of me, a skinny white girl, taking home a hojillion biscuits. I did eventually realize that I would have to share my biscuits, so i trucked over to the hill to distribute to some of my friends. The security guards' eyes lit up when they saw my bag from Bojangles. 'nuff said.

I haven't been to this location since 2006 (CurrentIy, live out of state). the service is better than average and the food is still off the Richter Scale!

Used to love Bojangles, back when they offered both mild and spicy chicken pieces. My partner can't handle the spicy stuff. Well, this fat little Texan can handle it! Bring on the hot stuff, baby! Now, they just offer slightly spicy chicken, which can still be too spicy for some people. Anyways, my partner wanted me to bring something home for lunch after I got off from work. And one of the suggestions was Bojangles. I thought...hey, why not. Well, as much as their fried chicken, fries, biscuit and sweet tea are delicious...their services are subpar. It used to be that you could get sweet tea at the soda fountain center. Now, you to come up to the cashier for refills. What's up with that?!?! The guy in front of me wanted sweet tea and a bag to put his food in to go. Problem was the the cashier acted like she could care less. In fact, she went around the kitchen and disappeared for a few seconds. The people that were fulfilling the orders weren't any help at all. Then, it was my turn. I also had to wait a few minutes before getting my sweet tea. When my order was up, it looked like it was suddenly a 5 minute cigarette break for everyone. I was this close to saying "am I on Candid Camera?" Then, the people behind me weren't getting any services better than the rest of us had. Everything would just be smoother if the crew gave friendly and smooth services. Otherwise, if they did, then 5 stars would have been given.

I used to sneak off to Bojangles during work last year. The spicy fried chicken is solid, and their biscuits are so buttery it should be illegal. Why there isn't one in DC is beyond me.
